HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR EMPLOYEES’ FRENCH?
When companies want to train their employees in a language, the most demanded language to train them is English, it is logical since it is the international language and a sure success, discover the benefits of training your employees in English in Classgap for Enterprise.
However, if your company is international and does business in countries whose main language is not English, training employees in English can be a great strength against the competition.
French is a language that, like English, has international competence. We cannot forget that they are our neighbours, so when it comes to internationalising a company it is logical to start with a nearby country with a similar culture.
In Spain we have the advantage that many people began their studies in French at school, so it is not a question of starting a language from scratch, but rather of starting from a base, which makes it easier to take it up again.
For business, training your employees in French is a way to differentiate yourself from the competition. In any business, the impression that the opposite is true is fundamental. A company will not do business with another that it does not trust, especially when it is a different country. That is why one way to get closer and create a close relationship is to share language. We always feel more comfortable speaking our mother tongue, when we see that a person makes the effort to speak with us in our language shows his or her predisposition and interest in the conversation.
Here comes the long-awaited question…
How can I train my team if they do not have the same level?
The answer is simple, at Classgap for Enterprise we adapt to the specific needs of each client. In order to achieve the company’s objectives in employee training it is important to meet all the needs of the employees. For this reason, in Classgap for Enterprise we carry out an audit to find out what these needs are and work with them, aligning them with the objectives of the organization.
Once the needs have been identified, we organise the training, which can be either One to One, i.e. private or group classes, depending on the level and objective of the employees.
For example, within the group of workers who are going to be trained in French, we are going to find different needs, those who are going to be in contact with the French company will need to have a fluent conversation, while those salespeople who will carry out the negotiation will need to learn more specific terms of the business area, so we would carry out two different trainings in two groups, to cover each need, in one we would reinforce the oral and conversational part, as well as writing emails and messages, while the other would reinforce the business vocabulary and conversation part.
In addition, a second division would be made depending on the level of the employees, creating private classes if necessary, so that everyone would be comfortable during the training.
Once the training is underway, it will be followed up to see how each employee is progressing and the areas for improvement, so that the HR area can also measure the ROI of the training.
